All About Love

When we have harsh words with one another it hurts us. Harsh communication can harden our hearts. We must guard our hearts and any words that come out of our mouth should be used to edify (lift up) instead of tearing down. "Thank you," "Good job," "Let me help you," "Let me show you how." These are only a few examples to help lift up our brethren in most any situation anywhere, anytime. These words help to build unity and show love.

We must always guard against anything contrary to love. Anything other than love is giving in to the devil. Anything other than love sets us up for the ways of iniquity. In the end, iniquity will cause the love of many to grow cold (Matthew 24:12).

Love does not rejoice in iniquity. Love rejoices in the truth (I Corinthians 13:6). Love rejoices in Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Let's keep our love from growing cold. This is love:

4) Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5) Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6) Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

7) Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8) Charity never faileth...

This is from I Corinthians 13:4-8.

Jesus is the answer for our life today and for life everlasting. All we have to do is ask Him into our life and to forgive us for our sins. Jesus will forgive us! We must love and forgive one another as Jesus loves and forgives us:

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).
