Let Jesus Bind Satan

When Jesus calls you, open your heart to let Him in to bind the strongholds of Satan. Satan is nothing but a liar. Do not be deceived by him. Flee his evil through Jesus! (Mark 3:27).

Hear a Physician calling?

Jesus may be the Physician calling you. In Mark 2:17, Jesus said, "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

If you hear Jesus' call, you may possibly respond by saying, "Yes Lord, I believe in You and answer Your call. I repent of my sins. I want to live my life for You. Amen!"

Ministries Converged

Writing has become my Christian ministry. My faith in action. The proper word(s) placed by the Holy Spirit at the right place at the right time is/are a powerful thing!

My attempts toward other ministries have all converged to writing. I believe the time has come for me to be settled as an inspirational writer. Writing is happening The rest is in God's hands.

Receive Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding from God

Proverbs 2:1-6 (KJV):

1) My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

2) So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

3) Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

4) If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

5) Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

6) For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

I Had a Blind Moment

Thank God for wonderful sisters. I am blessed with three of them. Yesterday, Jesus worked through my sister, Treasa, to help me through a personal storm. I had a blind moment where Treasa helped me to see.

It is important for Christians to embrace the ministering God sends for us to share with one another. At first, when Treasa was talking to me, I was a bit arrogant, but the Holy Spirit humbled me through the words of wisdom He sent through her. By the end of our conversation, my personal storm had become a shower of blessings from God! I was blind but now I see.

Prayer: Thank you God for working through Treasa, time and again to help me see! Amen!

Continuously Rely on Jesus

I have visited the Words of Jesus in John 9:39 on various occasions and left with no clear understanding of the verse. The verse says, "And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind"

I have been unable to understand why Jesus would want a person to become blind. He had just healed a blind man. This morning, however, I have come to understand the meaning to be that Jesus wants us to continuously rely on Him. Can you see the reciprocity in the verse?

Jesus wants believers who do not understand His spiritual truths to turn to Him so they will understand. At the same time, Jesus wants believers who already understand His spiritual truths to become blind to them so they will not become self-righteous like the Pharisees. Thus, all believers are to always be reliant on Jesus for answers.

Personally, I have been blind to this explanation, but now I see. When I return to the verse at another time, I'll have to turn to Jesus for the explanation. Therefore, as a Christian, I search the scriptures with Jesus opening my eyes to the truth!

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for opening my eyes to Your truths. I pray for those searching Your Word to always turn to You for the answers! Amen!

Unity in Our Diversities and Differences

I Corinthians 12:4-7 (KJV):

4) Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5) And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6) And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

Do You Believe in Jesus?

If you have any doubt that Jesus exists, the book of John in the Bible is for you. Jesus did many signs written in John so that we "...might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" (John 20:30,31). When you discover Jesus, the gift from God to us, all you have to do is ask and He will give you the living water for everlasting life (John 4:10,14).

My testimony is that Jesus exists. My hope is that you will believe in Jesus as a result of my testimony. If you do not believe me, then, I hope you are drawn to the Word of God to experience the truth for yourself!

Prayer: Father God, I pray that You use this blog to help those who do not believe in You to come to believe. I also hope they are drawn to living a life for You! Amen!

Veteran's Day Prayer

Prayer: "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."

Overcome Hatred with Love

Solution for Bullying

The solution for bullying or any evil in our society is for the Word of God to be witnessed to all. When people come to believe in God and worship Him in spirit and in truth, they want to become more and more like Him. Since God is love, love will abound. Love is the more excellent way. The definition for love (charity) is in I Corinthians 13:4-8:

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things , believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth..."

Prayer: I pray God that You permeate society with Your lovingkindness and that the people of society want to become more and more like you! Amen!

God is Everywhere

In Psalms 139, you will learn that God is everywhere you are. It is so simple to turn to God wherever you are and have Him to search your ways to lead you to life everlasting!

Prayer: Lord, I know You are not far from me and I am praying to You from this very spot the words from the Psalm of David--Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Amen!

Listen for Jesus' Voice

Do you belong to Jesus' fold? Listen for Jesus' voice. Is Jesus preached in your church? Listen for Jesus' voice. Here are some Words from Jesus: "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd" (John 10:16). "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (John 10:27,28).

The following words may be the ones you have been waiting to hear:

"...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. ....Save yourselves from this untoward generation" (Acts 2: 38-40).

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray Your voice is heard by all to become a part of Your eternal fold! Amen!

Exalt the Lord

God is speaking to me today through Isaiah 66:5. He says, "Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at [H]is word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but [H]e shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed."

God appeared to my joy on my recent first visit to an Episcopal church where there are no outcasts! I am moved to exalt God through the verse of Psalms 99:5 which says, "Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at [H]is footstool; for [H]e is holy."

God knows of the time when and where I was cast out because of accusations for His name's sake. Glory be to God for appearing to my joy!

Prayer: Thank You God for not casting me out. You make me welcome wherever You are. You appeared to my joy and made me welcome at Your table in the Episcopal church. Praise Your Glorious Name! Amen!

Testimony of Holy Spirit Manifestation

Today's blog is to express testimony of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Glory be to God for His presence always and for manifestation of His presence to me yesterday during a church service. While the rector was praying before distribution of the bread and wine, the Holy Spirit came upon me with a pressing down from above and with an electric-like feeling through my feet and up my legs. The whole experience left me in awe! The pressing down was not oppressive, but comforting which made the form of His Holy Spirit known. The feeling in my feet and legs was energizing. Let this stand as witness of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is Lord! Glory be to God! Amen!

Prayer: Thank You Lord for Your most welcome presence in my life! Amen!

A Psalm for Protection from the Enemy

A Psalm for anyone experiencing Satan's attack:

Psalm 64

1) Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2) Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

3) Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

4) That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5) They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

6) They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

7) But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

8) So they shall make their own tongue to fall fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

9) And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

10) The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Personal note: God sees and knows what the evil are doing. He will convict their hearts of their doings!

You Have the Holy Ghost, If...

Our way to salvation is through Jesus Christ (Romans 10:13). When we believe in Jesus and love Him, we keep His commandments (John 14:15). In keeping Jesus' commandments, God, the Father, gives us "...another Comforter, that [H]e may abide with [us] for ever" (John 14:16)[.] This Comforter is the Holy Ghost (John 14:26).

Yesterday's blog entry was closed with the question--"Do you have the Holy Ghost?" The answer to this is yes to all who have called upon the Lord to be saved (Romans 10:13). The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins which brings Jesus to light in an opportunity for a sinner to repent of sins and be saved (John 16:8,9). When we are saved, we are opening up for the Holy Spirit to abide with us.

Jesus is the Lord

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. I Corinthians 12:3 (KJV).

Do you have the Holy Ghost?
