Jesus is the answer to the "...weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:..." (Matthew 23:23). The scribes and Pharisees made life for the citizens very burdensome. The citizens were oppressed. Jesus had a new way. Jesus taught the people to:
29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:29-30).
Jesus also taught:
37) "...Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
38) This is the first and great commandment.
39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:37-40).
In following God's law, we must follow Jesus' example for the answers. The Holy Spirit will lead us. Our faith will increase and we shall be comforted.
