A search of chapters 1 and 2 in the book of Numbers:
In all, there were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty children of Israel to be set up in camps surrounding the tabernacle of the congregation from a distance on the east, south, west and north sides. The Levites were to set up in the midst of the camp around the tabernacle.
